Economic Impact Analysis

Again this year, CHCANYS is offering an economic impact analysis to all NYS CHCs.  The analysis is available without charge to CHCANYS organizational members.  Non-member CHCs should email data@chcanys.org for details.

As a reminder, the Economic Impact Analysis is an estimate of your health center’s contribution to the local economy in 2021, based on direct spending and local spending generated through vendors and employees.

To obtain your 2021 update, please send a request to our data team at data@chcanys.org and include:

  • Your total FTE employment (Table 5, line 34, column A) and total accrued costs (Table 8A, line 17, column C) from the 2021 UDS report, and
  • a statement authorizing CHCANYS to use this UDS information to develop an economic impact analysis.

If you have questions about the analysis, please contact Jim Welsh at (jwelsh@chcanys.org).
