Remembering Our Friends and Colleagues

Tiffany was a Medical Office Assistant at the Amsterdam Family Health Center and has been a part of the Institute for Family Health since July 2008. Tiffany’s dedication to our organization and the knowledge she possessed were exemplary. During the many years with the Institute, Tiffany worked at the Sidney Hillman/Phillips Family Practice, the Washington Irving school-based site, the Family Health Center of Harlem and the Amsterdam Family Health Center.

We will all remember her infectious smile. In Dr. Joseph Lurio’s words “Tiffany was always willing to stay late and volunteered to assist whenever needed." The Amsterdam Family Health Center will not be the same now that Tiffany is gone.

She was a very vibrant woman. Always happy and dancing. She was never upset and would always find a way to make everyone have a great time. Her death has been such a loss to the whole family and we just don't understand. May her beautiful smile be what brings us comfort and find reason to continue our life without her.

Mr. Samaniego was my father, he was a wonderful person. My dad lived life to the fullest. He was a fantastic saxophone player, loved to watch soccer, travel and loved to be around his family. He always took care of others before taking care of himself, he truly had a heart of gold. He was loved by many especially by his loving wife, daughters, son-in-laws and grandkids. He is dearly missed everyday.

Elise joined CHCB, Inc. in October of 2020. She served as Assistant Operations Manager and was highly regarded by her team as a kind, caring, gentle Manager. Elise was dedicated to teaching and sharing her knowledge with everyone. She always displayed a sweet manner. We all miss her positivity tremendously.
