Capital Projects Associate
Reports to: Director of Capital Projects

Responsibilities:
- Work as a key team member with the Director of Capital Projects, Special Projects Manager, and members of the Executive Team in capital construction and renovation projects
- Coordinate efforts and track project status of architect, general contractor, and other existing partners and vendors (e.g. medical equipment, signage, telecommunications, elevator, fire alarm, security, and furniture)
- Assist in the development of grant proposals to federal, state and city agencies, foundations, and other funding sources and involvement in post-award responsibilities
- Review reimbursement vouchers in detail
- Assist in the preparation of updates for the Board of Directors including construction progress and milestones
- Monitor project budgets
- Develop documents and schedules for the New York State Department of Health Certificate of Need
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 2 years of relevant work experience with at least 1 year in project management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDFs
- Knowledge of Chinese a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-Time Salary: $50,000 - $62,000 per year
