The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) committee release bipartisan Community Health Center Fund Reauthorization

Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and HELP Committee member Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) have released a bipartisan Community Health Center Fund Reauthorization proposal that would fund health centers at $5.8 billion per year for three years. The proposal will be considered by the Committee in the coming days. This news comes on the heels of the introduction of  bipartisan House legislation, The Lower Costs, More Transparency Act, which funds the CHC Trust Fund at $4.4 billion per year through calendar year 2025 - a 10% increase over current levels addresses the critical funding needs of health centers.
