Established in 2012, the New York Statewide Health Center Controlled Network (NYS-HCCN) is one of forty-nine HRSA funded networks that work together to strengthen and leverage health information technology (HIT).

Governor Hochul has appointed Mary T. Bassett, MD, MPH as the New York State Department of Health (DOH) Commissioner. Dr. Bassett will step into her new role on December 1st, 2021. CHCANYS is excited to welcome Dr. Bassett in her new role as DOH commissioner and is looking forward to partnering with her on issues important to community health centers.
