MCVR Audited Wrap Rates

For a review of the Wrap Rate Packages, please refer to the Wrap Rate Overview and Impact Calculator (Last Updated March 2025). 

  1. 2021 and 2022 Audited Wrap Rate Packages: The below audited MCVR wrap rate packages are now with the Division of Budget (DOB) and pending final approval:
    1. 2021 (coverage period 10/1/2021 – 9/30/2022)
    2. 2022 (coverage period 10/1/2022 – 9/30/2023) 

Claims for these periods were previously paid using unaudited MCVR rates. Once the audited rates are approved, claims will be reprocessed using the new rates if there is a variance. DOH has informed CHCANYS that CHCs can request interest waivers for liabilities.

DOH has these instructions on how to access updated rate exhibits via the Health Commerce System (HCS). Please review your rate exhibits and use the Rate Impact Calculator to estimate any potential liabilities.

  1. 2022 and 2023 MCVR Audit Findings and Exit Dashboards: KPMG has started releasing 2022 and 2023 audit exit dashboards to health centers. DOH has asked health centers to sign off on these audits, and most are still within the 30-day window from the date of release to do so. Health centers also have 30 days from the date of release to file an appeal if needed. 

    CHCANYS hosted a webinar on Tuesday, March 25 with Dolores DiRe from CohnReznick to walk through how to read the dashboards, assess their impact, and file an appeal if necessary.
