The HRSA FY2027 Expanding Nutrition Services (ENS) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is now open! FY27 ENS applications are due in Grants.gov by 11:59PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Please note that there is no HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHB) application for this funding opportunity.
According to the posted NOFO, the total program funding is $125M, with up to $350,000 awarded per health center (must have an H80 grant) per year for up to two years to support more than 350 CHCs in expanding access to nutrition services and food-based interventions to prevent and manage chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
HRSA will host a question-and-answer (Q&A) session for applicants on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 1:00 – 2:00pm EST. Please submit questions in advance through the BPHC Contact Form. Under Funding, select Applications for Notice of Funding Opportunities, then Expanding Nutrition Services.
