Establishing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CHCANYS and New York Community Health Centers to improve communications via Veoci

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), as well as CHCANYS, as your primary care association, have federal requirements to have systems in place for communicating before, during and after emergencies. To this extent, CHCANYS has started a roll out of our new Emergency Management situational awareness platform Veoci, which will facilitate such communication between CHCANYS and New York health centers. Some FQHCs are already in the process of establishing formal agreements with us to engage in this new initiative. We encourage ALL health centers to understand this new process and participate. Once executed – the MOU should also become a part of your health center’s communications plan (such a plan is a CMS requirement). After MOU is established, CHCANYS will issue 2 Veoci accounts per FQHC network at no cost!
