Enhancing the Collection and Analysis of Race, Ethnicity and Language (REaL) Data

CHCANYS invites you to participate in a pilot focused on developing health centers’ capacity to collect and analyze Race, Ethnicity, and Language [REaL] Data.

The purpose of this project is to help health centers build capacity to collect expanded race and ethnicity categories, and explore strategies to analyze these granular data. Health centers will work with a practice coach on re-designing current workflows to better capture REaL and aggregate and disaggregate these data to inform and facilitate targeted patient interventions.

CHCANYS will support up to 5 health centers with individualized training and technical assistance (T/TA), and provide opportunities to leverage promising practices to best utilize patients’ REaL data to address health disparities and advance health equity. Health centers will explore cultural humility as a framework for care delivery and improved patient engagement.

Join CHCANYS and your Health Center Colleagues in this Innovative Work. Pilot launches in March 2023 and ends in December 2023! Register today by completing this interest form here. Contact Derrecia Graham, Program Manager at dgraham@chcanys.org with any inquiries.
