About this program
The Community Health Care Association of New York State has partnered with rayogram on a multi-year effort spanning brand, website, and member-facing tools. More recently, this work has focused on digital accessibility and compliance.
Federal guidance has raised expectations for accessibility across federally funded organizations, including PCAs and Community Health Centers. Updated enforcement tied to WCAG 2.1 A/AA standards introduces clearer benchmarks and more defined timelines for compliance.
At the same time, expectations around how accessibility is evaluated have become more rigorous. Many PCA and CHC websites fall short— not due to lack of effort, but because requirements have evolved, and issues often span templates, content, and third-party components.
In response, CHCANYS is working with rayogram to offer a focused program to help organizations identify and address accessibility gaps. This offering is designed as a practical way to assess risk, prioritize improvements, and take clear, measurable steps toward compliance.
