Race, Ethnicity and Language (REaL) Data can impact healthcare organizations’ ability to deliver equitable care. Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) can leverage REaL data to better understand their patients and communities, identify health disparities, and develop patient-centered initiatives to address disparities and improve health outcomes. CHCANYS has curated resources to support FQHCs with adopting strategies to improve REaL data collection to ensure data reflects the full diversity of health center patients across expanded race and ethnicity categories.
