Join the NYC Department of Health and the Citywide Colorectal Cancer Control Coalition (C5) for a webinar and panel discussion celebrating Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Topics focus on screening, and how fecal immunochemical tests (FIT) can best be utilized in New York City Community Health with prompt follow-up colonoscopies for patients with abnormal test results. Strategies will include overcoming barriers to getting timely FIT+ results followed-up and implementing practice changes to increase colorectal screening rates in communities served. Tips will include processes for data reconciliation among Community Health Centers and large health systems to increase screening rates.
