CHCANYS NYS-HCCN Virtual Workshop

CHCANYS members are invited to attend the upcoming New York Statewide Health Center Controlled Network (NYS-HCCN) sponsored 2-day workshop. This training session is designed for executives, managers, providers, EHR staff, technicians, and other staff involved in interoperability efforts.

Over two days, this workshop aims to help health centers better understand the current state of interoperability, increase knowledge of emerging technology, and improve workflows related to health information exchange, technology, and innovation.

Day one will focus on Policy and Technology: an update on operationalizing TEFCA by the Sequoia Project, Carin Alliance speaking about standards developed for third party apps and consumer directed data exchange, and two of the NYS RHIOs talking about expanded immunization data sharing

Day two will focus on Workflows: a member health center and dynamic breakout session about External Data Systems, and an educational session with ECRI Institute that will include sharing resources and toolkits to improve closing the loop

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions with fellow health centers and experts to discuss successful workflows, while building connections and expanding knowledge with other helpful resources.
