JOB SUMMARY:

Working together with the Program Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational management of the ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program. The Program Coordinator is a full-time position that is essential to the creation and coordination of the administrative workflow related to maintaining an accredited residency including (but not limited to) working to recruit trainees, tracking and reporting trainee progress to all relevant stakeholders, assisting the Program Director with accreditation, educational programming and coordination, and communicating with faculty, residents, staff and external entities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The program coordinator is an essential member of the leadership team and will need to demonstrate leadership and personnel management skills. Program coordinators must possess extensive knowledge of the ACGME Common and Specialty Specific Program Requirements, policies, and procedures. They are the primary resource for learners, faculty, staff and function as the program’s liaison to institutional and regulatory offices.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience. 3-5 years of experience in an administrative position, preferably in an educational or health care setting.
