We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work at our 400 Broadway location and Jackson Heights location.

Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to families as well as engage in health promotion activities. They will provide care to a panel of adult patients on a continuing basis including but not limited to; Evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical conditions; Initial assessment and management of mental health conditions e.g. depression and anxiety disorders; Ordering and analyzing necessary diagnostic tests using high value care principles and EBM to inform clinical decision-making; Prescribing appropriate treatment and/or medication in an evidence-based manner and within the scope of licensure; Advising patients on treatment recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and age-appropriate preventive screenings; Referring patients for consultant services when necessary.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants must be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner; A master’s degree is required. Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program is required; The NP will have a current and valid NYS license, DEA certificate, BLS, and Infection control certificate; AAHIVM certification and/or LGBT health certification is a plus.
