We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to work at our Jackson Heights location. 

 

Position Summary: The Medical Assistant will be responsible to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Assistance in the clinical care of patients will include performing biopsies, pap smears, HRA, phlebotomy, EKGs, etc. This individual will consult with medical providers at the beginning of each session and/or at a daily meeting to ensure optimum patient flow.

 

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have at minimum a High School diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Must have at least one year of full-time work experience preferred with possession of a current basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS CPR) certificate.  Experience in working with people living with HIV/AIDS is preferred.
