Health Center Support & Development Coordinator

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Health Center Support, the Health Center Support and Development Coordinator will provide administrative support to the department. In collaboration with the HCS team and other key department staff, the HCS&D Coordinator will assist with the development and implementation of Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) programs and services that align with current grants and initiatives and address CHCs needs.


Provide programmatic and administrative coordination and support for the day-to-day functions of the HCS in delivering T/TA programs and services, including:

Support FQHC Proactive Outreach, including collecting cross departmental input; developing draft communications; assigning HCS staff.

Provide back-up to the CHCANYS letters of support process

Provide support for developing, disseminating, and monitoring HCS targeted surveys

Assist with the implementation of T/TA offerings (face to face trainings/ virtual meetings/ webinars)

Assist and coordinate promotional materials for T/TA offering i.e., blasts, other email communications, distribution materials, etc.

Provide support for T/TA “question” desk/email

Support the HCS team to implement major events/functions, including:

Assisting in implementing registration systems and tracking systems for events (CVENT, CrowdCompass and Smartsheet), creating events, constructing templates, creating and sending email blasts and running reports.

Supporting scheduling efforts and coordination of HCS T/TTA offerings

Compiling and assisting with conference/T/TA abstracts and workshop/T/TA coordination

Supporting coordination of registration and planning efforts for events with HCS team

Supporting key administrative components for HCS Senior Leadership

Completing time sheets and expense reports

Scheduling meetings/conference calls

Performing other duties as assigned to fulfill CHCANYS’ mission

Qualification Requirements:

· Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience in a related field

· Experience with project coordination/management

· Ability to multi-task and manage a heavy workload

· High degree of independence, flexibility, initiative and commitment

· Ability to organize and coordinate various activities

· Attention to details and a focus on quality work

· Ability to work as a team member and work effectively with diverse groups of people in a collaborative/team environment.

· Demonstrated awareness and value of cultural competence

· Knowledge of primary health care delivery systems

· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

· Proficient computer skills: MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook

· Must be willing to travel, as required

The HCS&D Coordinator must be self-motivated, display sound judgment, relate well to the public and staff, have a professional demeanor, prioritize customer satisfaction, and be well-organized.
