The Facilities Cleaning Associate is a member of the Facilities team and will support their department leadership to achieve all facilities and safety goals. The Facilities Cleaning Associate will be responsible for performing all tasks related to the upkeep of facilities, and facilities services. The role entails performing a range of cleaning and sanitizing duties, including cleaning clinical and administrative areas, floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas and performing routine inspections. The role will also provide cleaning support to facilitate a well-kept, orderly and safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors at all Callen-Lorde locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, Education

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the janitorial field, trade, technical facility, or equivalent work experience 
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
