Union Community Health Center, one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in New York State, with six locations throughout the Bronx, NY, is seeking a part-time driver for the UNION shuttle service.

Operating uninterrupted for over 100 years, UCHC has emerged as one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in New York State. With 6 sites located throughout the Bronx and a mobile health center, UCHC reaches far into the community, addressing social determinants of health and improving the overall wellness and quality of life of those we serve.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Driver must have a valid state driver's license (professional driving experience preferred), a High School Diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and must be attuned to cultural differences existing in our diverse patient and staff population. Additionally, full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) and proof are required.
Duties of the Driver will include, but are not limited to:
- Following a schedule to operate the morning and afternoon shuttle to transport staff
- Maintaining the welfare and safety of the passengers and the shuttle van
- Maintaining the interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure cleanliness
- Following the appropriate schedule for routine maintenance and cleaning
