Plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and patient care standards.
Quality improvement experience and thorough knowledge of applicable DOH regulations and other standards. Experience in data retrieval, statistics, forms design, quality improvement techniques. Ability to work independently and provide education and resources to the organization. Qualified to conduct Point of Care training and competency assessment.
Graduation from a State approved School of Nursing (RN) with or permit or license to practice with 7-10 years of nursing experience, 3-5 years of ambulatory care experience, at least one year in a supervisory capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current BLS certification and Infection Control Certification.
