The Development Associate will be a crucial member of the development team, supporting Callen-Lorde's fundraising operations. The Development Associate will be responsible for data entry and database management, provide administrative departmental support, and support donor research and special projects. As a member of the development team, this role will work with key stakeholders across all donor constituencies and serve as a focal point for our relationships with supporters and partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of one year of experience in a fundraising role at a non-profit organization, or two years of experience in an administrative capacity, database management, and/or customer service role
- Experience managing data, supporting a team, and building relationships
- Demonstrated ability in working effectively with diverse populations
- Knowledge of LGBTQ+ and HIV health/mental health issues and concerns

- Strong computer literacy
