Statewide Booster Mandate Rescinded

On March 20, the Public Health and Health Planning Council approved new emergency regulations that remove the booster requirement for healthcare personnel. The regulation maintains the requirement for covered entities to ensure staff and volunteers are fully vaccinated, per CDC guidance. The regulation also calls for covered entities to keep documentation for all personnel on vaccination status, medical exemptions, or reasonable accommodations, and to make that documentation immediately available upon request by the Department of Health.
