Provider Relief Fund Updates

HHS has released new guidance on timelines and reporting for Provider Relief Funds (PRF). 

  • HHS reaffirmed that all PRF funds received prior to June 30, 2020 must be expended by June 30, 2021.  Most awards from phases 1 and 2 of General Distribution, as well as Rural Distribution, are subject to this timeline. Use of funds and reporting deadlines for awards received after June 30, 2020 are detailed in the announcement.
     
  • The PRF Reporting Requirements have been published. The PRF Reporting Portal will open for providers to start submitting information on July 1, 2021. The deadline for reporting on PRF funds expended by June 30, 2021 has been extended to Sept. 30, 2021.
