One House Budgets Released 

The NY State Senate and Assembly released their one house budget bills outlining their priorities as the State works to finalize its budget before April 1st. Thanks to CHC advocacy, we’re thrilled to share that all of CHCANYS top advocacy priorities were included in at least one version of the state budget bills. For CHCANYS’ full working summary of the one house and executive budget bills, please click here. 

CHCANYS Top Priorities:  

  • CHC Rate Reform: Included in Senate Budget with new rates effective 10/1/25 

  • Telehealth Pay Parity: CHC parity included in Senate and Assembly Budgets 

  • Medicaid Rate Increase: 3% Increase included in Senate and Assembly Budgets 

  • MAs as Vaccinators: Included in Governor's Budget  

Advocacy Actions to take now: 

Telehealth Pay Parity 

  • Thank Senate and Assembly 

  • Ask them to hold strong; reiterate importance of proposal to your CHC 

  • Low fiscal ($7.5M state share), big impact! 

Rate Reform 

  • Thank the Senate 

  • Ask Assembly to support Senate One House Part JJ  

  • Ask Assembly Members and Senators to Cosponsor S.6959/A.7560 

Medicaid Increase 

  • Thank Senate and Assembly for proposing 3% increase  

  • Express the need for investment equivalent with other providers 

  • CHC costs are 44% higher than Medicaid payments 

MAs as Vaccinators 

  • Ask Senate and Assembly to support Governor’s budget Part Q, allowing MAs to vaccinate pursuant to training and supervision by a physician, nurse, and physician assistant
