To increase access to the COVID-19 vaccine for homebound and hard-to-reach Medicare beneficiaries, Medicare is increasing the vaccine administration fee by $35 per dose ($75 total per dose) for vaccines administered at a patient’s home.
The NYS Medicaid COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Fee has been increased to $40.00 effective for dates of service on or after April 1, 2021. DOH will retroactively adjust claims adjudicated after April 1, 2021 through May 31, 2021 in the cycle 2287 payments. For more information, please see the May Medicaid Update here.
