Community Forum Negative HCV Screening Test Results

The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute is hosting a community forum to gather feedback on proposed changes to require laboratories to report the following hepatitis B and C laboratory test results:

  • All negative hepatitis B antibody/antigen laboratory test results, including HBV DNA.
  • Negative hepatitis C antibody test results (excluding point of care/rapid tests).

The community forum will also discuss proposed changes to require laboratories to report:

  • Negative HIV screening test results (excluding point of care/rapid tests).
  • Negative syphilis screening test results (excluding point of care/rapid tests).
