CMS Finalizes Withdrawal of COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Healthcare Staff

CMS announced on May 31st the final rule ending mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare staff, aligning its approach with requirements for influenza and other infectious diseases. The rule removes regulatory provisions on COVID-19 vaccination requirements for healthcare staff of specified Medicare and Medicaid providers. Read the final rule here.
