Clinical Committee
As a peer learning and collaborative forum, the CHCANYS Clinical Committee convenes a group of clinical and quality improvement leadership. Currently, the Clinical Committee meets Tuesdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am, bi-weekly and covers an array of different topics that aim to be relevant to your health centers' work.  Please click here to view the schedule of formal Clinical Committee meetings of the Association vs. Clinical Committee peer-to-peer forums. Nursing Subcommittee
The CHCANYS Nursing Subcommittee convenes nursing leaders and administrators from New York health centers to discuss relevant clinical and operational topics on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. The CHCANYS staff leads are Derrecia Graham, Program Manager, Clinical Excellence and Innovation, and Amy Freiman, Data & Technology Program Manager. Behavioral Health Subcommittee
The Behavioral Health Subcommittee (BHSC) is comprised of health center staff with a keen interest in behavioral health and primary care integration. The Subcommittee discussions typically focus on strategies for expanding patients’ access to integrated care services, promising clinical practices and data-driven workflows supporting team-based care and improved patient outcomes. The BHSC meets every first Thursday of the month from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. HIV/Hep C/STD Clinical Subcommittee
Join CHCANYS HIV/Hep C/STD Sub-committee call every first Friday of the month from 12:00-1:00 p.m. to explore lessons learned and potential solutions to common challenges in care delivery models that directly impact your patients living with, or who are at risk of developing, HIV, Hepatitis C, and STIs. Sexual & Reproductive Health Subcommittee
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Subcommittee meets the first Thursday of every month from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. The Subcommittee is seeking a passionate health center employee to join its leadership team as a co-chair, and to help advance the goals of improving the provision of sexual and reproductive health care at New York State FQHCs, including advancing maternal health outcomes. Oral Health Subcommittee
The Oral Health Subcommittee meets on the fourth Friday of every other month from 9:00-10:00 am. Join us in the New Year as we discuss workforce retention and recruitment; review the Azara dental module; explore promising practices in tele-dentistry; discuss care delivery in support of patients with special needs, and more!
