Amy Zarr joined the QI team at CHCANYS in December 2014. She earned her MPH with a concentration in health policy from The George Washington University in 2009. Prior to joining the CHCANYS team, Amy worked for the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, an ASO and the only HIV designated PCMH in WI, developing and implementing the Linkage to Care program to ensure patients at risk for falling out of or never linking to HIV care are retained in care. Amy also has extensive experience working directly with patients in a clinical setting, providing health education and serving as a liaison between patients and their providers to reduce disease burdens and improve clinical outcomes.
Originally from upstate NY, Amy is eager to provide project management support to ensure NY’s most disadvantaged populations have equitable access to quality primary health care services.
