Association for Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is a transdisciplinary organization of clinicians, advocates and healthcare organizations that provide health care for the underserved. Their programs include professional education, clinical tools, advocacy, patient education, training and technical assistance.
The ACU has received a national cooperative agreement from the Bureau of Primary Health Care to create a training and technical assistance center around clinician recruitment and retention issues at community health centers. The STAR² Center (Solutions, Training, and Assistance for Recruitment and Retention) will provide resources, regional training, and individualized technical assistance about clinician workforce issues to the health centers of highest need. National Sample Survey of Nurse Practitioners – 2012
The National Center for Health Workforce Analysis has made the micro data file from the 2012 National Sample Survey of Nurse Practitioners (NSSNP) available to the research community, complete with restricted data elements.
The 2012 NSSNP provides a nationally representative sample of Nurse Practitioners in the U.S. The survey collected detailed data on the licensure, education, clinical practice characteristics, and demographics for almost 13,000 Nurse Practitioners.
The current file contains extensive geographic and personal information which were not available in the public use version that was released earlier in the year.

NACHCHuman Resources Clearinghouse
The Human Resources Clearinghouse (HRClearinghouse) is an online database provided by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) as a resource for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and state or regional primary care associations (PCAs) on topics related to Human Resources Management. The intent of the NACHC HRClearinghouse is to link HR-related resources with health center and PCA staff to use for enhancing Human Resources functions within their organization.
