CHCANYS serves as the voice of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) as leading providers of primary care in New York State, helping them to navigate the state’s complex regulatory environment and ensuring that they are well represented and supported during the implementation of health system delivery reform initiatives.
The “go-to” organization in New York for guidance on community health policy and regulatory reform, CHCANYS’ purpose is to ensure that all New Yorkers have continuous access to high quality, community-based health care services, including a primary care home.
Your contribution will support CHCANYS’ continued work in the following areas:
Analysis of state and federal health regulatory and policy issues affecting community health centers
Training and education for health center administrators, clinicians, and board members
Promotion and management of clinical quality initiatives across the health center network
Workforce development initiatives designed to improve recruitment and retention of primary care providers and provide career training for health center employees
Information technology development focused primarily on data analysis to support quality improvement programs
