CHCANYS launched the Data Quality Initiative in March 2014 to provide health centers with knowledge, tools and ongoing assistance to ensure the high quality of their clinical data in the CPCI. Generally speaking, good quality data is:
“Data validation” or “data quality assurance” is defined as the process of identifying data quality issues, analyzing the root cause, and determining an appropriate response. Data validation ensures that reports are credible and defendable, which builds trust among stakeholders and forms a strong foundation for data-supported quality improvement.
