Position The Communications Associate develops, executes, and manages tactical communications and other activities to advance the goals and objectives of the RCHN Community Health Foundation (RCHN CHF). Working closely with the Foundation’s management, staff and consultants, the Communications Associate captures, shares, and promotes information, stories, and lessons learned from the RCHN CHF’s priority programs and investments.
Provide overall support in the development, implementation, and execution of the Foundation’s communications plans, strategies, and tactics.
Manage social media and on-line presence (Facebook, Twitter, email marketing, blogs, etc.), as directed.
Assist in the development and dissemination of program reports, fact sheets, educational materials and other collateral to key stakeholders through social media and other channels.
Work with coordinator of the Foundation’s signature CHroniCles project to expand visibility and promote site.
Assist with coordination of updates & improvements on externally-managed RCHN CHF websites
Coordinate public speaking opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Direct experience with social media, website content management systems, and website analytics.
Exceptional written, verbal, editing and presentation skills.
Excellent analytic abilities and critical thinking skills.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic design/ layout experience.
Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience in a related position. Master’s degree in public health, public policy, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Some independent U.S. travel required.
