Responsibilities: The Director of Operations is responsible for the daily operations of the Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, in collaboration with the Medical Director. Serves in a leadership role to maintain emphasis on patient and occupational safety, risk management, quality of care, patient centered medical care, emergency preparedness, equipment and facility maintenance, and compliance with all applicable regulatory and other requirements. Coordinates health center collaborations and bilateral linkages with other service providers, including the programs of the East Harlem Council for Human Services, Inc. (Council) and other institutions. Collaborates with other disciplines to facilitate the effective management of all aspects of health center operations, including but not limited to coordination, outreach/inreach/marketing, facility and vehicle maintenance. Participates in program development activities, including program planning, proposal writing and interactions with funders and regulatory agencies. Actively participates in performance improvement processes.
Qualifications: New York State License as a Nurse Practitioner or RN. At least five years experience in health care administration, at least there of which are supervisory, preferably within a Patient Centered Medical Home FQHC. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish Preferred. Flexible schedule with ability to travel.
