Provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients, prescribe foot gear and mechanical appliances for the relief of conditions causing foot ailments. Provide instructions in the proper care of the feet, estimate quarterly supplies and materials for podiatry work. Maintain documentation in patient clinical charts, prepare reports, as requested by the Medical Director. Participate in Performance Improvement activities, provide workshops to community agencies as needed. Perform other functions necessary for the proper care of patients and functioning of the Center.
Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized school of podiatry, NYS license to practice podiatry, Board certified or board eligible, Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. At least one year of experience in the practice of podiatry, thorough and up-to-date knowledge of methods, materials, equipment and practices of podiatry, as well as, demonstrated ability to apply methods, materials and equipment in podiatry practice.
