The New York Children's Health Project in the Community Pediatric Programs (CPP) of Montefiore - Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking an experienced Program Director to join an exceptionally dedicated group of health care professionals.
The New York Children's Health Project (NYCHP) is a pioneer in the delivery of health care via mobile medical clinics to underserved homeless children and families residing in shelters throughout New York City. The NYCHP is the flagship programs of the Children's Health Fund, a national non-profit committed to providing health care to medically underserved children and families.
The Program Director will oversee the development of existing programming and daily operations while contributing to the innovation, long-term growth and strategic direction of NYCHP. As a dynamic leader, the Program Director will cultivate working relationships with key players at city agencies and other non-profits serving the homeless. The position responsible for efficient functioning and integration of all NYCHP administrative activities, program evaluation, fiscal/billing, data reporting and personnel. This position reports directly to the Associate Director, and works in collaboration with the NYCHP Medical Director.
Requirements: Master's Degree in Public Health Adminsitration, Business Administration or related field. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in health adminstration/management and program development preferably in a community health environment serving children and their families. Superb communication skills required. Familiarity with heatlh care delivery to special populations strongly desired.
