Administrative Director: South Bronx Health Center
Mission driven, innovative, state-of-the-art federally qualified community health center located in the South Bronx is seeking an experienced Administrative Director to join a dedicated group of health care professionals providing care to medically underserved communities in the Bronx. Our teams work to close the ever-widening gap in health disparities and tackle priority health issues prevalent in at-risk populations. The health center is part of Community Pediatric Programs at Montefiore Medical Center and the national non-profit Children’s Health Fund.
The South Bronx Health Center (SBHC) is comprised of 2 beautifully designed and technologically sophisticated facilities. Mental health and nutrition services are co-located and integrated into the primary care services. In addition to our clinical providers, health educators, case managers, data analysts and public health specialists are an integral part of the health care team. Patients are assured a seamless continuum of care regardless of their ability to pay.
Special health initiatives include: early childhood and family resiliency, group prenatal and well-baby care, diabetes/obesity prevention, and childhood asthma. Recently we have developed a Medical-Legal Partnership providing care to the growing unaccompanied immigrant youth population in the Bronx.
