Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is seeking an energetic and experienced Registered Nurse with administrative experience, to manage the nursing staff in a dynamic and expanding School Based Health Program.
The Administrative Nursing Manager is part of the leadership team of the School Based Health (SBH) Program. He/she will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, staffing and clinical supervision of the nurses and medical assistants in the SBH program. The Administrative Nurse Manager will be involved in data collection and performance improvement activities. He/she will participate in the opening of new SBH Centers as our program expands. Duties will include occasionally providing direct clinical care.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Masters in Nursing or Health Administration preferred. Minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing experience required - pediatric ambulatory care experience preferred. NYS Registered Professional Nurse license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
