Syracuse Community Health Center, Inc. has an immediate need for Physicians.
Job Summary: Responsible for providing primary health care services to Center patients within the structure of family practice care model, from Pediatric through Geriatric. OB patients can be refferred to the OBGYN/Laborist/Hospitalist model. Maintain accurate, timely and up-to-date case notes using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
In addition, serves on committees, discharges administrative responsibilities, attends departmental meetings, participates in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation; will assume teaching responsibilities as assigned; assures professional supervision of Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant provider personnel including professional interaction with provider support personnel (e.g. nutritionist).
MD. Graduate of an accredited medical school. Current New York State Medical License required.
