Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is seeking dynamic and energetic Family Physicians to join our expanding outpatient clinics in the Bronx. The incumbent would need to support and lead process improvements in access, patient care management, patient/family self-care support and clinical quality performance evaluations.
Provide high quality primary care to patients of all groups including, prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care
Provide comprehensive patient care and establish a family partnership whenever possible to ensure the needs of the patients are met on an ongoing basis
Consult with appropriate medical specialist when necessary; refer patient to subspecialists when indicated
Ensure performance improvement initiatives are supported with timely and accurate data and consistent actions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Medical degree from a medical college approved by the American Medical Association
Completed internship and residency training from an approved medical facility
Two or more years of experience as a Family Practitioner is preferred
Board certified or board eligible by specialty board
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Focused on collaborative team-based care
Comfortable working in a high accountability environment; receiving and providing constructive feedback
Passionate about providing high quality care to low-income, underserved residents and those lacking access to health care
