The Chief Information Officer’s role is to provide vision, leadership and hands on support for developing and implementing information technology initiatives and solutions. The Chief Information Officer directs the planning and implementation of IT systems in support of agency services in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and program development.

The ability to ensure all IT systems are secured at all times safeguarding the integrity and continual operation of the network, including the inter- and intra-building wiring plant and wireless networks, are maintained.
Requires: Related Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ IT experience. Supervision of technology systems (WAN, LAN, Applications, Hardware) or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Common network and authentication protocols/technologies, installing, configuring, and updating application software, high level programming language such as C++, scripting languages, electronic medical records systems.
