CHCANYS is thrilled to announce the 9th Annual Emergency Preparedness Seminar with the NY Department of Health! This event proudly features Commissioner Christina Curry from the Mayor's Office of People with Disabilities (MOPD), Principal of Health Management Associates, Inc. (HMA), Gail Mayeux, and subject matter expert and Senior Lecturer of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Dr. Thomas Matte. Join us as we delve into practical applications of Psychological First Aid, disability inclusion in Emergency Operations Plans, how climate change impacts vulnerable populations, de-escalation techniques, and best practices for implementing safety policies.
